Hank Cherry Joins Monster Fish Outdoors in 2024

Cornelius, North Carolina - Hank Cherry - the winner of the 50th Anniversary of Bassmaster Classic on Lake Guntersville in 2020 and winner of the 51st Anniversary of Bassmaster Classic on Lake Ray Roberts in 2021 - joins Monster Fish Outdoors (MFO) and related brands in 2024 and beyond. 

"So I’ve been with Pure Fishing in some shape or form for the last 11 years. I got to work with some good people and create some everlasting memories," Cherry said. "I have decided to leave Pure Fishing and go a different avenue in 2024. My family and I will always be grateful for the support but at the end of the day this decision is what’s best for us."

MFO is located in Cornelius, North Carolina and borders Lake Norman - where Cherry grew up fishing.  

MFO was founded in 2022 by avid fisherman and entrepreneur Matt Lewis. "We are excited to announce our new partnership with Hank and provide exceptional fishing products to the industry. We have worked so hard in the year and half to launch more than 70 new products with many more amazing products to come through our amazing brands. Hank certainly knows a thing or two with bait design and we look forward to working with him for many years to come."

Hank Cherry who is known as an exceptional jerkbait and shallow water angler with a jig and crankbait, will help MFO design new baits that will launch in 2024. 

MFO has many brands under its umbrella including BassMooch and Xhing Line, and recently acquired Level Rods from Major League Fishing Pro - Anthony Gagliardi in 2023.
